People travel from all over the UK to Ulverston to both exhibit and buy top quality artwork.
It's one of those win-win situations. The artists come because they are made welcome; love meeting their enthusiastic followers - and each other; take a holiday in this lovely part of England. The public also come because of the high quality of the art and the standard of organisation of the event itself. After 11 years of running Printfest the people here enjoy puttin on a superb event even though it demands a lot of hard work.

Printfest has also provided the inspiration for the flags that are made specially by everyday people with no particalar skills other than lots of enthusiasm and perhaps an eye for colour which they pick up from the visiting artists.
