This is a short video of highlights from the Sept. 15, 1974 National Football League game between the Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots at Foxborough, Mass., won by the Patriots, 34-24.

Not a bad way for Chuck Fairbanks and the Patriots to open a season, by knocking off the defending champions at home. Mack Herron, Jim Plunkett, and Sam Cunningham each rushed for touchdowns, and Plunkett threw 13 yards to Reggie Rucker for another score as the Patriots took a 31-10 lead. When Bob Griese engineered two touchdown drives for the Dolphins, the Patriots tacked on a John Smith field goal to keep the margin at an insurmountable 10 points.
