I hope that men gain some comfort that they can THRIVE! Not just survive! with their diagnosis.
I hope men can dismiss the inappropriate and insensitive jokes by dispelling rumours, misinformation by starting to have this important conversation with their friends and families.
I know four men - three plumbers and a retired gent who all went and got tested when they heard my news. I am so proud that these four very blokey guys all admitted that they could deal with being tested after seeing how I did.
I urge ALL men to create a plan with their families and partner for their health. Create your plan - be proactive! You can THRIVE! THRIVE! I'm alive! and be grateful for the smallest things as they make a difference.
