Dr. James Woodward discusses Mach Effect Propulsion and the MEGA Drive, based on a postulate that energy-storing ions experience transient mass fluctuations when accelerated.
In today's presentation, James will be joined by Michelle Broyles to provide updates on their team research and recent experimental test results for prototype drive systems.
Unlike conventional technologies, drives based on the Mach Effect do not need to release matter in order to generate thrust. The MEGA-Drive is part of an ongoing effort by Woodward's team to generate reactionless thrust based on transient mass fluctuations.
James is a professor emeritus of history and an adjunct professor of physics at California State University, Fullerton. He has an AB in Physics from Middlebury College, an MS in Physics from New York University, and a PhD in the History of Science from the University of Denver.
