THE TALK SHOE – Being born in Germany to Iranian parents, being a woman,
being a writer, being gay, the question of ones own identity « Who are you ? »
always arises to Jina Khayyer.

The Khayyer Questionnaire is based on questions that Khayyer started asking herself as she turned older than Jesus. Her answers to those questions you will find in her book Älter als Jesus / Older than Jesus.

With her questionnaire-game Khayyer is challenging the player to ask these same questions to reflect and unveil themselves.

Who are you ?
Where are you from ?
Are you happy ?
What does happiness mean ?
Top ? Or bottom ?

In collaboration with the Italian shoemaker Francesco Russo, Khayyer is presenting « THE TALK SHOE » based on The Khayyer Questionnaire.

THE TALK SHOE plays with feminism, sexism and style, challenging women from around the world to reflect and unveil themselves.
