Paula Payton was conceived in rape and later in life, became pregnant through a horrific gang rape. Despite a history of volunteering with Planned Parenthood and pressure from friends to abort, Paula embraced her son's life with love.

She is now the Executive Director of Hope After Rape Conception, a non-profit that assists mothers from rape and their children.

"We all make choices every day. You don’t need to choose to kill other people to be happy or to have freedom or to be empowered. We can be empowered by taking the life we’ve been given and choosing the right path forward."
