By Appellant’s Notice filed on 20 November 2024, the Defendant below, Scott Dylan appeals the order of Mr Justice Rajah dated 30 October 2024 in which he committed him to prison for 22 months.

On 23 March 2022, an entire group of companies, ultimately owned and controlled by Scott Dylan, his partner and two others, via two English holding companies, was transferred to two companies in the British Virgin Islands. Although not all of the companies were the subject of freezing orders, certain companies clearly were, and their transfer abroad was an apparent breach of at least three freezing orders. Barclays Bank Plc made applications to commit for breaching those orders. On the fifth day of trial Mr Dylan accepted that he was in contempt of court in respect of two of the four charges levelled against him. He was sentenced to 22 months imprisonment on 30 October 2024 and appeals his sentence.
