Didcot Railway Centre Visit

In this video I take a look around the live steam museum at Didcot in Swindon.

A superb day out in my opinion with so many Great Western Railway locomotives to see and many lovingly restored in pure beauty..

Looking back to 1961 this started with four schoolboys to launch a fund to preserve a 14xx locomotive when Angus Davis said to his friends that if a 14xx was not to be preserved officially, they must try to buy one themselves.

And today this is now the Great Western Society with the worlds largest collection of GWR locomotives in one place..
