In the cars Mattias Ekstrom finished just ahead of his teammate Stephane Peterhansel with Yazeed Al Rajhi (Overdrive Racing) third. The current W2RC championship leader Nasser Al Attiyah (Toyota Gazoo Racing) finished way back in 38th place after apparently running into alternator problems.
