Large parts of Game of Thrones (GoT) were shot in Northern Ireland. With its green hills, deep forests and rocky coastline, Northern Ireland was turned into Westeros. Many old castles and ruins served as GoT filming locations as well. Join us on a ride through the world of Game of Thrones.
The places we visited include:
18th century mansion Castle Ward which became Winterfell
The Tower House of 15th-century Audley's Castle which was used as Walder Frey's twins
Tollymore Forest became the haunted forest
Inch Abbey was used as Robb Stark's camp
Ballintoy Harbour (Iron Islands, Pyke)
Fair Head (Dragonstone)
Murlough Bay (Slaver's Bay)
Cushendun Caves (The Stormlands)
Cairncastle (surroundings of Winterfell)
