The first Garbage University, generating environmental and social awareness.
Due to the pollution humans are generating by leaps and bounds, a transformation is needed in people’s understanding to redefine the concept of waste. Over eighty percent of the materials that go to landfills, rivers and seas from the various cities in Colombia can be reused.
The transformation of knowledge to redefine garbage must be a new life culture, where the challenge will be to get people to find innovative ideas built from waste products. Using new art and design creations will be a key factor in this.
The Garbage University was born from this idea: a space created for environmental education generating products useful to society.
The main thrust is to create an educational model to generate knowledge among people, while they care for the environment.
