Is Sihanoukville the Vegas of Cambodia?

We heard many good things about Sihanoukville when looking at places in Cambodia to visit and the most obvious of them being the gambling.

As we stepped off the bus in Sihanoukville, you can straight away see the amount of investment that's been pumped into the town to try and provide a more modernised, classy feel. However, these pleasant streets were also eerily overshadowed by skeletons of buildings which had been abandoned.

Presumably due to Covid-19, a lot of this development has come to a halt and what remains of this nice seaside town is now a more derelict concrete jungle.

Regardless, we wanted to see if we could test our luck and see whether we could make our millions, so we headed to a casino. Will we end up bankrupt, will we strike it lucky? Watch and find out! (Please gamble responsibly.)

On a more serious note, if you or anyone you know has an addiction to gambling, there is plenty of free help available to you (depending on country). GamCare for the UK are a great free service you can use, but alternatively, speak to someone you know, block apps on your phone or speak to any establishments you visit regularly and request for them to bar you (self-exclusion).
