Now that you’re out in the waters surrounding your island you’ll be able to find scallops in and among the various sea creatures that have just become available. When you find your first one you’ll get an interaction with Pascal the sea otter and he’ll give you a recipe. It’ll require pearls to craft leaving you with the challenge of how to give more scallops to Pascal for more ACNH treats. Obviously, you can also donate a scallop to Blathers at the museum or sell excess in the shop, but for the most part they're used to farm for pearls.
