Meep is an adult male Little Red Flying-Fox who is in permanent care in Mandi's aviary. He makes a lovely "MEEP" noise which is quite individually melodic and distinctive.
He's had his eye on one of the young Little Red females, and has been putting the hard word on her.
When Mandi came into the aviary he was hanging beside her about to make his move. She turned to escape his attentions, scampering through Jackie and Reuben's sling, and then Divabelle made a commotion in the aviary and Meep became distracted. He lost his momentum and his intended paramour (who didn't appear particularly interested in his attentions), escaped.
I loved the look on his face when he faced Mandi, and the renegade Divabelle who had clearly both conspired to ruin the fruits of his carefully laid plans.
