The finished size of this crochet baby blanket is 24” x 28” (61 x 71 cm) approximately.

You may use a different weight of yarn for this project however you will need to adjust the length of your foundation chain. Make a foundation chain that equals the width you would like your blanket to be. The starting chain can be any number of stitches (add 3 for the foundation chain). You will then work your blanket until you have reached the desired length.

This is a beginner-friendly, easy crochet tutorial and as long as you know how to work the following stitches, you will have no problem in making up this baby blanket :
ch(s) - chain(s)
hdc – half double crochet
sl st - slip stitch
SPcl – special cluster (slow step-by-step tutorial given in video)
st(s) - stitch(es)
