Sean Murphy is a Ballet Master. He became a ballet dancer at the late age of 18 and was a member of the Boston Ballet Company, American Ballet Theater as well as the Washington Ballet Company. As a child, Sean was one of four children and faced the trauma of his mother passing away when he was nine years old. After two years living only with his siblings, he moved in with his grandmother. Sean was an athlete in football, swimming, basketball, soccer and also enjoyed musical theater. He had trouble academically in school and the theater was where he was best able to express himself. He discovered his passion for ballet in his later teens and worked tirelessly to learn the art. He walked onto an open audition in New York and was offered a contract for the Boston Ballet Company. He is passionate about teaching kids ballet and not letting life's obstacles get in the way of achieving your dreams.
