Canadians in Ontario hoping for less snow this winter season may instead see more than in the past few years.

Global News Chief Meteorologist Anthony Farnell gives his annual winter forecast, which is forecast to bring below seasonal temperatures that could last well into the spring and a "polar vortex" could bring some periods of extreme cold.
