A car has ploughed through a Christmas market in the central east German city of Magdeburg.
Local media has claimed at least 11 are dead and between 60-80 people have been injured, with numbers expected to rise.
The state premier of the state spoke about the attack.
The suspected driver of the car has been arrested according to reports.
