Surah Kahf (arabic text: سورة الكهف) is the 18th chapter of the Qur’an. It is consists of a total 110 ayat or verses. It is classified as Meccan Surah and the title of this Surah in English is "The Cave".
In this Surah it mentions the story of the People of the Cave, the man who had two gardens and was very proud of himself, Prophet Moses (pbuh), story of Dhulqarnayn, a pious ruler. In addition, surah kahf has multiple rewards and benefits for recitation. In fact, also very helpful against the persecution of Dajjal.
These stories teach Muslims the value of faith, knowledge, patience, the relativity of time, and the variety in this world.
There are multiple rewards and benefits of recitation the Surah Kahf on the days of Jummah.
“Whoever reads Surah al Kahf upon the arrival of Jummah will have a light that will sparkle from him starting with one Friday then onto the next.” — (Al-Jaami)
It is related from Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (RA) who said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on the night of Jummah (Friday), will have a light that will stretch between him and the Holy Kabaah”. — (Daarimi)
Ayat Main Theme:
• Ayat 1-6: Those who say Allah has begotten a son are uttering a monstrous lie.
• Ayat 7-12: Story of the Companions of the Cave.
• Ayat 13-17: They were young men who declared the truth about the Oneness of Allah and They had to run away and take refuge in a cave.
• Ayat 18-20: They are in a state of sleep and They were waken up by Allah after hundreds of year.
• Ayat 21-22: Their identity was disclosed to resolve the disputed issue of life after death, What a shame that instead of getting the point people are disputing about their numbers.
• Ayat 23-26: Whenever you promise to do something in future, always say, "Insha Allah (If Allah wills)".
• Ayat 27-31: No one is authorized to change the Word of Allah and Proclaim, "Truth from Allah has come, choice is yours, believe or disbelieve".
• Ayat 32-44: Parable of a believer and a disbeliever.
• Ayat 45-49: Similitude of worldly life and its relationship with the life of hereafter.
• Ayat 50-53: Fate of those who follow the Shaitan and commit shirk.
• Ayat 54-59: Allah has given all kinds of examples in the Quran, so that the people may understand His Message.
• Ayat 60-70: Prophet Musa travelled to find Khizer to learn some of the knowledge given to him by Allah Almighty and Khizer warned Musa that he would not be able to bear with him.
• Ayat 71-74: Prophet Musa could not resist questioning Khizer when he made a hole in boat, and when he killed a boy with no apparent reason.
• Ayat 75-82: Story of Prophet Musa and Khizer.
• Ayat 83-101: Story of king Zul-Qarnain.
• Ayat 102-108: Fate of the Mushrikin and the Believers on the Day of Judgement.
• Ayat 109: Words of Allah are countless and can not be recorded.
• Ayat 110: Muhammad is but a human being like you.

2] Wealth: The story of the rich and the poor (Verses 32–44)
3] Knowledge and wisdom: Prophet Moses and Al-Khidr (Verses 60–82)
4] Power: Dhulqarnayn with Yajuj Majuj (Verses 83–98)
