In 2003, eco-system photo journalist and video producer Mike McMurray investigated the cause for the ever increasing destructive forest fires throughout the west and in particular to his home in Central Oregon. These were typically lightning ignited fires, however the intensity, duration, sheer number of fires and inability of national inter-agency fire crews to control these devastating fires sparked Mike to produce this documentary and it’s revealing controversial causes.
