As Arctic Cold settles into north Georgia, the 11Alive Weather Impact Team is tracking a southern track low that could bring a chance of wintry weather to parts of north Georgia at the end of the week.
Confidence is growing that we will see this low develop in the western Gulf of Mexico and move eastward across the I-10 corridor. With cold air in place in advance of the storm, this increases the potential for some parts of north Georgia to see a mixture of rain and wintry weather.
