Let’s talk drop sets.
‼️ The biggest mistake I see is not hitting failure on the first set. Follow these tips to get the most out of your drop sets.
1. Your starting weight should be one that you can perform safely, but also get to failure between 6 and 12 reps. Reaching failure on this first opening set is the key to getting drop sets right.
2. Quickly lower the weight by 20 to 30% and get right back to doing more repetitions.
Repeat for 1 to 2 additional drops. The goal remains the same, keep your form on point but take each weight to failure.
