Sabeena Lahda is the definition of an entrepreneur. She started her company, DEUX vegan nutrient and vitamin rich cookie dough, to disrupt a locked up industry from a place of passion. She grew up on the same breakfast of champions as the Marge; Oreo’s, in Texas to immigrant parents. After college Sabeena went to work at PepsiCo / Frito Lay in marketing. Her corporate career goals there didn’t align at all with her personal health and wellness journey which she documented on her blog (before blogs were a thing) and she soon realized it was time to make changes. When the pandemic hit and her excessive vitamin schedule left her “pill fatigued” (a term which we love) she set out to find a delicious yet nutritious delivery into your system and after many rounds of trial and error landed on what is now DEUX (pronounced dough). We met in her booth at a tradeshow and instantly fell in love with her infectious personality and pop color, Insta-fabulous branding and of course the eaters that we are, got instantly hooked on her products! Fast forward to a Shark Tank foray, a feature in Forbes, major VC investors, a placement in Whole Foods and new products Sabeena shaking up the unbaked dough industry!
