ALBERTA FERRETTI Resort 2019 Milan - Fashion Channel
Alberta Ferretti holds a special presentation during the opening of Men’s Fashion Week in Milan. For this unique event held in Palazzo Reale’s Sala delle Cariatidi, Ferretti shows her Resort 2019 and Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition collection, whilst unveiling the new official uniforms she has designed for Alitalia. To celebrate this project, the Resort collection includes a “see-now-buy-now” capsule collection with the airline’s logo. It is a multi-faceted event filled with creative elements that once again confirm Ferretti’s determination to make Milan the epicenter of the fashion industry, while adding value to Italy’s culture, image and business.
Resort 2019. A suggestive atmosphere of freedom and leisure has been drawn from an image of a young Ali McGraw. The collection is inspired by streetwear and infused with workwear details and the modern sense of curiosity to travel unexplored lands. Sweatshirt fabrics and colored, stonewashed denim are finished with classic Ferretti embroideries and inlays to create dynamic daywear including skirts, dresses, trousers and tracksuits. The chiffon and silk dresses flow, in constant motion, forming a light and delicate silhouette.
Alitalia Capsule Collection. A T-shirt, sweatshirt, and sweater, three iconic and unisex pieces are a canvas for the Alitalia logo. Alberta Ferretti pays homage to the charm of the logo, its meaning and the legacy of the Alitalia airline. The pieces are presented on the catwalk of the Resort collection and will be available for immediate purchase on the Alberta Ferretti website, Alberta Ferretti boutiques and through an exclusive selection of international retailers, including Luisaviaroma, Rinascente, Farfetch, Barneys New York and Forward by Elyse Walker.
