(15 Nov 2013) Thai police said 24 Russian tourists were injured after a bus was overturned on its way to Kanchanaburi province in western Thailand early on Friday.
Four of the injured tourists were taken to the intensive care unit in a nearby hospital in Chonburi.
The tour bus driver said the bus crashed into an electricity pole, before flipping on its side, when it was cut off by another car, according to Police Colonel Pongsaran Wangplub.
Pongsaran said at least four were seriously injured while 20 tourists suffered minor injuries.
No deaths were reported.
Police were investigating the cause of the accident and the driver has not been charged yet.
The bus, carrying about 51 Russian tourists, was travelling from Pattaya, a seaside town in eastern Thailand, to Kanchanaburi, which is 110 kilometres (70 miles) west of Bangkok.
