During the evening hours on May 25th, a weak and brief tornado spun-up across central Iowa, producing widespread tree damage throughout the town of Johnston. The city was spared due to the vortex being fairly weak, with wind speeds estimated up to 95mph based on damage. The following video package shows numerous trees or branches uprooted, collapsed, or broken. A few other clips show road signs knocked over and clean-up crews getting rid of the damage evidence.
