Forensic workers pulled several bodies wrapped in black plastic from a mass grave found in Ukraine’s devastated city of Lyman.
Work continues to exhume and identify at least 180 bodies in the Donetsk region city.
The city was under Russian occupation for over four months. Authorities are investigating the bodies for evidence of war crimes.
Ukrainian authorities found a mass grave in Lyman where, according to the National Police, there were families and children born between 2019 and 2021.
