Last week, we saw Theodore Gericault's Raft of the Medusa and how it impacted a young artist named Eugene Delacroix. Here's one of Delacroix's paintings, probably the most popular one: Liberty Leading the People. Very similar to the Raft of the Medusa in many ways, Liberty Leading the People is about one of the many French revolutions. Here, Delacroix participates in the revolutionary effort through art.
