In this video, I will list the most important IDoc transactions in SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.

The acronym IDoc stands for Intermediate Document. An IDoc is an electronic message used to transfer information from an external system to the SAP system and vice versa as part of EDI transmission. EDI stands for Electronic Data Interchange. The IDoc is created either directly in the external system or in the SAP system itself. Depending on the direction of transmission, it is referred to as an inbound or outbound IDoc.

The processing of IDocs can be referred to as IDoc or EDI processing.
