The unemployment rate has “surprisingly tipped lower” to 3.9 per cent from 4.1 per cent in the month of November, according to Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“This was a surprise and will certainly potentially change even the outlook for when the first interest rate will come here in Australia,” Mr Greenwood said.
“Quite clearly it has been a significantly strong jobs market in Australia for a very long period of time and there were expected to be some 25,000 jobs created during this time.”
