Ball of Shame is regular Vogue ball organized by Slovak ballroom pioneer Monika Prikkelová - Monika Tisci and Roman Samotný - Roman 007 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
SHAME is a regular local queer techno party and once a year is giving space for a ball to happen to support local ballroom scene.
The idea behind it is to leave the shame at the door and have fun inside with no judgement.
Slovakia is still very conservative and homophobic country, where we need subcultures like this to give safe space for young queer people to express themselves.
