Artist Graham Tipene reflects on his own memories of midtown and speaks about the importance of bringing cultural expression to the city centre as part of Auckland Council’s midtown regeneration. Examples include the new section of Federal Street, Myers Park’s northern end gateway, Queen Street’s Tūrama for Matariki ki te Manawa and Te Wai Horotiu Station (Aotea).
