A look at Doncaster Railway Station on the morning of Saturday 13th July 2019.

Doncaster is situated on the East Coast main line and sees services provided by London and North Eastern Trains on that route between London King's Cross, Leeds and Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness. In addition, the station is also served by Arriva Crosscountry services running between Edinburgh and destinations in the south of England such as Reading via Birmingham New Street. First Hull trains run services between Hull and London King's Cross and Grand Central trains run services between Sunderland and Bradford Interchange and London King's Cross. Services running between Cleethorpes and Manchester Airport are provided by First Transpennine Express. Local stopping services to Manchester Piccadilly, Leeds, Hull, Cleethorpes, Scunthorpe and Sheffield are provided by Northern Rail. East Midlands Trains runs a limited service between London St Pancras and York as well as a stopping service between here and Lincoln Central.

In addition to passenger services, the station sees a large amount of freight traffic.
