A Tesla Autopilot fail while navigating a corner in our Model 3 Long Range with a reduced speed warning.
This is a corner I drive almost daily, and this wasn't the first time I've used Autopilot on this road. This specific corner catches Autopilot every single time. The corner in question has a speed limit posted of 35 mph, which is 5 mph below the speed limit on the road. I happened to be doing 44 mph, 4 mph over the limit, which is pretty typical of the traffic on this road.
Now yes, I was going 9 mph over the recommended speed going into that corner. The thing is, I do that all the time, and there's no issues navigating that corner when I'm in control. The point of this video is to be very aware when using Autopilot, and be prepared to take over when something doesn't seem right.
