Now generally any update that is provided to your iPhone should not cause the issue. So what we'll do is at first we will try to see other possible solution. Now if you have recently changed the cover of your iPhone or if you have recently changed the screen protector of your iPhone then try to remove the cover or the screen protector and check if the Face ID is working properly or not. If you have used a magnetic case then it might be interfering with the camera of your iPhone. So remove the case and check. Also the next thing is if you are wearing any accessories like nose rings, earrings, spectacles or cap, remove those accessories and check if the Face ID will work or not. The other thing that you will do is we will hard reset our iPhone. If you want to hard reset your iPhone then what you will do is you have to quickly press the volume up button, then quickly press the volume down button and you have to press and hold this on/off button until the phone restarts and you will see the Apple logo. So let me do it. So at first volume up button, volume down button then press and hold this power button. You have to press this power button until the phone restarts and you will see the Apple logo. So let us wait for few seconds. Now once you see the Apple logo release the button. Now once you have hard reset your iPhone the other thing that you can do is you can reset your Face ID. For that one go to settings. Scroll down and you have to go to this option Face ID and passcode. You have to enter the passcode of your iPhone. Then scroll down and you have to select this option Reset Face ID. I will not reset now but if you want to reset you have to select this option and then you have to input your Face ID again. So once you do all of these things also if the Face ID is not working then in rare cases the update might have caused the issue. So what you need to do is you need to wait for the next update and then check if the new update will fix the issue or not. Even if the new object does not fix the issue then there might be a hardware problem and in that case you have to take your iPhone to the service center.
