How to answer a Standard CQ using Morse code.

I say Standard CQ as apposed to a contest, special event or DX CQ.

When answering a CQ, never send faster than the CQ station.

Best practice is to match the CQ station speed. A little slower is fine.

Also, take the time to become familiar with CW QSO Protocol. Watch the video and download the protocol sheet.

When a CQ station comes back to you, they will begin Protocol-1. So, have your pen and paper ready!
