A global initiative has been called in support of imprisoned Ukrainian fighter pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko. The 31-year-old's lawyers say it's imperative that this happens while the Russian president attends the UN General Assembly. Court proceedings have begun against the Savchenko in Russia.
