Arrogant Horse
A man was going to the market with a horse and a donkey. He had loaded all his goods on the donkey, while the horse was burdenless walking arrogantly. Getting tired of the heavyweight, he said to the horse, “Brother horse, please share some of this weight. It’s getting difficult for me to walk.

The horse turned his face and replied haughtily, “Why should I take it? You and your burden are none of my concern. Don’t you dare ask me that again!” Listening to this, the poor donkey went silent and started walking without saying a word. They had walked a few more steps when the donkey collapsed due to fatigue. Seeing this, the owner unburdened the donkey and loaded it all on the horse’s back. Now, the horse realized the error in his arrogance. Try as he might, he couldn’t fight it against the stick of the owner.

At last, he was forced to carry the entire weight of the market. On the way, the donkey said to the horse, “Brother, if you had agreed to share some of the weight in the first place, you wouldn’t have had to carry all of it.” The horse bowed his head in shame.
