In this video, we will learn how to create and use custom fields for users in Joomla 5. Custom fields are a great way to add additional information about your users, such as their addresses, phone numbers, or social media handles.
Steps:
Go to Extensions - Manage Extensions.
Click on Extensions - Extension Manager.
Find the User Manager extension and click on Install.
Once the extension is installed, go to Users - User Manager.
Click on the Fields tab.
Click on the New Field button.
Enter a name for your field.
Select the type of field.
Click on the Save button.
Once your field is created, you can add it to a user's profile by going to Users - User Manager.
Click on the Edit button for a user.
Scroll down to the Custom Fields section.
Enter the value for your field.
Click on the Save button.
