In this video I unbox the last iPod ever made, the iPod Touch 7th Generation. The iPod Touch 7th Gen was released in 2019 with identical specs to the iPhone 7 such as the Apple A10 Fusion processor, M10 Motion Coprocessor, 2gb ram, an 8mp camera and so on. The iPod Touch 7th Generation is officially the last iPod ever released because as of May 10th 2022 the iPod was officially discontinued by Apple after a 20 year run starting from October 10th 2001.
I got this iPod engraved with the launch date and end date of the iPod which is October 23rd 2001 - May 10th 2022. So in this iPod Touch 7th Generation unboxing 2022 video, iPod Touch 7th Gen Unboxing 2022 etc, I unbox this brand new iPod Touch 7th gen a few days right after it was officially discontinued. This is the space gray iPod Touch in 32gb which arrived pretty fast from China when I bought it on May 10th itself. It arrived in about 5 days which is extremely fast considering its an engraved iPod as well.
My theory on that Apple has separate iPod was engraving was proven here as even after production had seized they still offered engravings, even at the time of uploading this video.
So finally, unboxing this iPod Touch here in 2022 will be the last iPod I ever unbox, the very last iPod Unboxing I will ever do after years and years of being an iPod Customer. So, in the spirit of the last iPod ever made, I will attempt to use this iPod Touch 7th Generation in 2022 as a secondary device to my main phone and try to make use of it the same way I did with all my previous iPod Touches, especially the iPod Touch 4th Generation.
I will install all my main apps like Youtube, Youtube Studio, Discord, Reddit, Twitch, Instagram etc etc and try to put effort into using the last iPod in 2022!
