The Zion Narrows hike is as unique as it gets for a day trip. The Zion Narrows is a stretch of Virgin River that carves through these massive sandstone rocks, creating an incredible slot canyon.
We love to explore and adventure, but were concerned if we had would be able to make it through the challenging upstream hike that was sometimes over waist deep? Did we make it?? Spoiler, we did and had a great experience!!!
Steph and I hiked about three miles upriver starting at the end of the bus line and turning around at the "floating rock." This hike stated out quite busy, but the crowds were mostly well behaved many people only hike a mile or so up the river. Eventually thinned out to give us some time to ourselves in the canyon.
