The pulse is the measure of the heart rate. It measures heart beats per minute. Normal adult range is between 60 to 100 beats per minute (BPM).
Use the pads of your second & third fingers. Apply light pressure to the radial artery for sixty seconds.
In most cases, a lower resting heart rate indicates more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness.
