Youm-e-Takbir is celebrated as a national day in Pakistan on May 28 in commemoration of Chaghi-I and Chaghi-II. The nuclear tests made Pakistan the seventh nation to possess nuclear weapons, and the first in the Muslim world. The first nuclear test was conducted on the hills of Chaghi, Balochistan on 28th May 1998. Pakistan was compelled to conduct at least six nuclear tests in response to Indian.
