this is the finals bracket match featuring team lapis (antvenom and feinberg) vs team chorus (fruitberries and purpled). this match is a best of 3, meaning the first team to win 2 separate games against the other team wins the match.

speedrun showdown 2 is a 2v2 pvp/speedrun tournament where both teams were put in the same world and raced to speedrun before the other team. pvp is enabled, each player has a compass to track their teammates and enemies, and players drop all their items (except tools and armor) when they die. the team that gets the final hit on the ender dragon wins the game.

additionally, every time a team uses a nether or end portal, the coordinates are broadcast in chat. this is so that teams can't get an incredible lead over one another while speedrunning.
