In a major Onam and Raksha Bandhan gift to the countrymen, the union cabinet decided to slash the LPG domestic cylinder prices by Rs 200. Briefing the media, union minister Anurag Thakur said that LPG cylinder prices under Ujjwala Scheme slashed by Rs. 200 per cylinder, which will ease the pressure from rising cost of living due to inflation. He further added that the Centre has decided to provide free gas connection to 75 lakh women under the Ujjwala scheme.
