Traffic police have beefed up their presence to enhance surveillance on roads across the country this festive season. Over 1,300 arrests were made last night and early today morning of those commuters flouting traffic rules on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway one of the roads that police say registers high number of accidents during festive seasons. Those arrested were public service vehicle operators and passengers breaking traffic rules.
