In 2006, the Government of Japan launched the “Corridor for Peace and Prosperity” initiative, which is Japan’s mid- and long-term effort to promote economic and social development in Jericho and the Jordan Valley area through regional cooperation among Palestine, Jordan, and Japan.
Jericho Agro Industrial Park is an output of a fruitful cooperation between the Palestinian private and public sector and a generous fund by the Japanese government. it was established to be a core production and business centre in Palestine as well as an export gate to regional and international markets.
