an Oil Pressure light on the dash of a 1.2 Corsa is known by the manufacturer as a common fault.
the oil pressure switch due to bad design allows for deterioration of the internals and allows oil to travel through the sensor itself.
this results in oil being able to leak from the electrical connector and can cause issues such as the warning light on the dash and also cutting out. with a 24mm spanner you can replace the sensor and the job's done.
an easy fix for something which can cause you head aches if you don't know what you're looking for.
