2019-05-07: 16.4 mile (1598 ft elevation) ride in Oakland. Starting on 12th St wrapping around Lake Merritt to ride up the entirety of Park Blvd as the first street I regret riding up due to the fast traffic and lack of bike friendly facilities. Once Park Blvd ends at Highway 13 take the Mountain Blvd to Burdeck Dr, Butters Dr, Crestmont Dr, to Redwood Rd then to get on the next regretful street: Campus Dr. More uphill with fast traffic and questionable visibility. Past Merritt College (post-Black Panther location) taking a wrong turn down Viewcrest Dr to discover it's a dead-end loop so back up and further along Campus Dr to Keller Ave, Greenly Dr, Sunkist Dr, Hillmont Dr, and Seminary Ave to MacArthur Blvd, 58th Ave, Roberts Ave, and 55th Ave.
