In this video I describe four most known Family Language Strategies:
– OPOL (One Person One Language),
– mL@H (minority Language @ Home),
– T&P (Time and Place) and
– 2P2L (2 Persons 2 Languages)
and how they can be combined in a multilingual family.

Every family has a unique language constellation as every member of the family uses the languages in his or her very own way.
Finding our family language strategy or strategies and knowing that we can adapt and change them over time is essential.
